The roofing systems were varied and of different ages. The Main Clubhouse had a relatively new roof and suffered extensive damage. The Golf Cart Storage Barn had severe leaks and all of the ridge vents blew off. The Main Clubhouse had extreme hail damage to the roofing and soft metal. The Maintenance Building and Golf Cart Storage Barn had extreme hail damage to the roofing, skylights and soft metal.

Home Repair provided extensive documentation, photos, reports and estimates on scope of damage. The property was able to get their repairs covered by their insurance company. Home Repair was hired to replace 19,300 square feet of roofing systems. All three buildings received full roof replacements with Owens Corning Duration shingles.

Challenges: We Go the Extra Mile

Home Repair staff and crews utilized extra precautions working in a high-traffic area at the public golf course. The team mitigated business interruption while providing enhanced safety measures. To ensure the property didn’t look closed or like a construction zone, the Home Repair Inspector took extra care not to chalk all the roofs up with damage, as the facility was open for business throughout the entire construction process. The Inspector took detailed photos of the damage and used those so the property wouldn’t be unsightly or lose business throughout the process.

Outcome: Better than Before
